UAL and BCIC Visit Australia, 2016 trip details:
BCIC Australia completed a highly successful visit from the senior UAL international coordinator, Kate Scully. The visit consisted of 4 days in Melbourne and 4 in Sydney where we organised and conducted many school visits in which Kate gave presentations in Art and Design, portfolio guidance and studying abroad. We also organised presentation evenings where attendees interested in applying to UAL had the chance to gain insightful information in all areas of UAL and meet the international representative and have a Q and A session afterwards.
These events would lead on to the most important aspect of the visit, the in-country interviews. This is the chance for Australian students to be given on the spot decisions on their applications from the senior international figure at UAL. We arranged interview days both in Sydney and Melbourne and had students fly in from Brisbane, Adelaide and even Tasmania to have full diagnostic interviews.
This resulted in many students receiving conditional or unconditional offers to study at UAL from Art and Design Foundation to Postgraduate courses. It was very exciting trip and all involved enjoyed the work and the excellent results.
